How To Make Garlic Rice



Garlic Rice

Garlic Rice can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people. 

Recipe Ingredients

4 cups Boil rice
1/2 tsp White pepper
1tsp Salt
2 tbsp Soya sauce
2 tbsp Crushed garlic
1/2cup Spring onion leaves
4 cups Boiled rice
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Spring onion leaves (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp White pepper
2 tbsp Soya sauce
3 tbsp heaped Crushed garlic

Recipe Method

Heat oil in a pan  add 2 tbsp crushed  garlic and fry till they  turn  light golden in color.Add 4 cups boiled rice with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 2 tbsp soya sauce, mixed well, add 1/2 cup spring onion leaves. Toss well.

Chili Nuggets can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people. 

 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Chicken mince
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp White pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 1tsp Garlic paste
  • 4 made into crumbs Bread slices
  • Bread crumbs for coating
  • 1 or 2 Eggs

 

Recipe Method

  1. Mix 1/2 kg chicken mince with 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp white pepper, 2 finely chopped green chilies, 2 tbsp coriander leaves,1 tsp  garlic paste and four bread slices made into crumbs,
  2. Marinate for 1 hour,
  3. Make in the  shape of nuggets, dip them  in 1 or 2 beaten eggs, coat in bread crumbs and deep fry in a wok.

 Marmalade Cake can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.

 

Recipe Ingredients

6 ounces Butter
6 ounces Sugar
6 ounces Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Orange essence
few drops Yellow color
3 + 2 tbsp Marmalade
3 Eggs

 

Recipe Method

First prepare your 8 inches round cake tin, by putting butter paper on base, spread 3 tbsp marmalade on top of paper and keep aside. Sieve together  6 ounce flour and ½ tsp baking powder and set aside, Beat  6 ounce butter and sugar till creamy add in 1 egg at a time alternating with 1 tbsp of sieved flour, beating well after each addition, add in ½ tsp essence and few drops of color, fold in the reaming sieved flour and baking powder mixture lightly also fold in reaming 2 tbsp marmalade, pour mixture in the prepared tin bake on 180 degree C for 35 to 40 min. remove the butter paper and serve

Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients for base
4 ounces Butter
2 cups Biscuits crushed
Ingredients for filling
6 ounces Butter.
6 ounces Caster sugar
1 Tin Condensed milk
2 slice Bananas
2 cups Whipped cream
1/2cup Grated chocolate for decoration

 

Recipe Method

Method for base
Melt 4 ounce butter in a sauce pan; add the 2 cups crushed biscuits mix well, press on to the bottom and side of a loose bottom pie plate, chill until set.
Method for filling
Combine 6 ounce butter and 6 ounce caster sugar in non stick pan, heat stirring until the butter has melted and sugar dissolved, add 1 tin condensed milk and heat gently until mixture reaches simmering point, simmer for 5 minutes, pour the mixture into the biscuit shell, leave to cool, chill until caramel filling is set, arrange the 2 banana slices evenly on a caramel filling topped with whipped cream, decorate with 1/2 cup grated chocolate, serve chilled.

 Strawberry Almonds Fold Over can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.

 

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups Flour
1cup Butter
8 ounces Cream cheese
1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
4 tbsp Strawberry jams
2 beaten Egg white
4 tbsp Flaked almonds
2 tsp Sugar

 

Recipe Method

In a bowl beat together 2 cups flour, 1 cup butter, 8 ounce cream cheese and 1/2 tsp essence with electric beater with medium speed until crumbly, press dough into ball flattened wrap in plastic and chill for 1 hr, in pre heat oven on 190 degree C divide dough in half on lightly floured surface, roll half dough, 1/4 inch thick cut into 2 1/2 inches rounds, place rounds on  a baking tray, place 1/2 tsp of the jam on each round, fold in half over jam press edges firmly with fingers, seal edges with fork, brush top with 2 beaten egg whites, sprinkle with 4 tbsp almonds and 2 tsp granulated sugar, bake for 15 min until light brown, cool completely.

Recipe Ingredients

1 kg Chicken cut into small pieces
2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
20 Green chilies chopped
1/2bunch Coriander leaves
2 cups Yogurt
2 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Ginger sliced
3/4 cup Oil
1 packet National Chicken Hara Masala

Recipe Method

In a blender grind together 20 chopped green chilies, 2 cups yogurt, 1/2 bunch coriander leaves, 2 tbsp lemon juice, heat 3/4 cup oil in a pan, add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, fry for 2 minutes add 1 kg chicken and fry for another 5 minutes now add 1 packet of national chicken hara masala and the blended mixture, cook for 20 minutes on medium flame till chicken done, lastly add 2 tbsp sliced ginger and serve with nan.

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups Flour
1/2 cup Semolina
3-4 Eggs
1/2 tsp Yellow color
1tsp Cardamom powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 cup Sugar
for frying Ghee

 

Recipe Method

In a bowl mix together 2 cups flour, 1/2cup semolina, 3 to 4 eggs, 1/2 tsp yellow color, 1/2 cup sugar and make into a medium thick batter with water, keep aside for 4 to 5 hours just before frying add 1/2 tsp soda, heat ghee in a frying and pour 1 cooking spoon full of mixture for each mal pura fry for 2 to 3 minutes, turn and fry for another few minutes till golden and crisp, serve with malai.

Recipe Ingredients

8-10 pieces Chicken
1 packet National Broast Masala
as required Oil
2 tbsp Lemon juice

 

Recipe Method

Marinate chicken pieces with 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp lemon juice for 3 to 4 hours. Now coat 1 packet National Broast Masala and put in fridge for 15 minutes. Before frying again coat National Braost Masala. Deep fry in hot oil in a wok till it turn to golden brown. Serve with chili garlic sauce.

Recipe Ingredients

250 gm soaked for 6 hour Dalia
1/2 tsp White pepper
1tsp All spice powder
1 1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp heaped Ginger garlic paste
1 large sliced Onion
1/2cup Cream
2 cups cut into tiny cubes Chicken (boneless)
1/2 bunch Finely chopped parsley
6 Green chilies chopped
1/4 cup Oil
Ingredients for baghar
4 tbsp Ghee
2 tbsp Brown onion
1 1/2 tsp Ginger chopped

 

Recipe Method

Heat oil add 1 sliced onion fry till light golden, add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste with chicken and fry for 5 minutes then add 250 gm soaked Dalia with 6 cups of water, cover and cook on slow flame for 1 hour, then blend mixture add 1 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp white pepper, black pepper, 1 tsp all spice, and 1/2cup cream, before serving give baghar, garnish with chopped parsley and coriander leaves.

    Recipe Ingredients

    Ingredients for pastry
    1 Egg yolk
    8 ounces Flour
    5 ounces Butter
    to knead Cold water
    5 tbsp Caster sugar
    Ingredients for custard
    2 cups Milk
    1/2 tin Blue berry pie filling
    1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
    6 tbsp Sugar
    2 tbsp heaped Corn flour

     

    Recipe Method

    Method for pastry
    Beat 5 ounce butter and 5 tbsp sugar add in 1 egg yolk, fold in 8 ounce flour and mix slightly into a dough, leave to rest in fridge for half hour, roll dough cut with tart cutter into small rounds, put into tart tray, bake for 20 minutes on 180 degree, remove and cool, fill with prepared custard cream, topped with tbsp of berries in centre, decorate with whipped cream if needed.
    Method for custard
    In a sauce pan add 2 cups milk, 6 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp corn flour and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, cook stirring till thick.

      Recipe Ingredients

      1 Eggs
      1/2cup Wheat flour
      1/4 cup Oil
      1 1/2 cup heaped Flour
      to knead Luke warm water
      2 tbsp heaped Sugar
      1 1/2 tsp Instant yeast
      Ingredients for filling
      1 ounce Butter
      2 ounce + 2 ounce Brown sugar
      1 tsp + 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
      Ingredients for frosting
      2 ounce Icing sugar.
      1tsp Hot water

       

      Recipe Method

      Knead together 1 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1 1/2 tsp yeast, 1 egg with Luke warm water into a medium soft dough, leave to rise for 1 hour. Roll to 1/8 inch thin and line a 5 inch round plate, brush base with 1 ounce butter, 2 ounce sprinkle brown sugar mix with 1 tsp cinnamon lavishly, cover and leave to rise for half hour, bake on 200 degree for 20 minutes, remove drizzle with froasting, cut into wedges, serve hot with scoop of vanilla ice cream.

      1/2 kg Potatoes Peeled Boiled And Mashed
      3 Green chilies
      1 inch piece Ginger
      1tsp Salt
      1/2 tsp All Spice
      1/2 tsp Sugar
      2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
      2 tbsp Lemon juice
      Ingredients for baghar
      1/4 tsp Turmeric
      1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
      1/2 tsp Chili powder
      2 tbsp Oil
      Ingredients for Batter
      1cup Gram flour
      1/4 tsp Turmeric.
      1/2 tsp Chili powder.
      1/2 tsp Salt.
      as required Water to make batter

       

      Recipe Method

      Grind together 3 green chilies, 1 inch ginger piece, 1 tsp garlic, 1/2 tsp all spice, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp sugar into a fine paste with 1 tbsp water, mix this paste into 1/2 kg mashed potatoes with 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, now give baghar to this mixture, mix well and make into small balls and then flattened make a thick batter with 1 cup gram flour, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp salt and water, dip wada into batter and deep fry them in 2 tbsp hot oil till golden brown, serve with chatni.

      Recipe Ingredients

      2 Eggs
      1cup Khoya
      2 Bottle Gourd Grated
      2 1/2 cup Milk
      1tsp Cardamom Powder
      1 tbsp Almonds Coarsely Crushed
      4 tbsp Condensed Milk
      4 tbsp Sugar

       

      Recipe Method

      Boil 2 1/2 cup milk with 4 tbsp sugar add 2 cup grated bottle gourd and cook till thick, remove from fire add 1 cup khoya and 4 tbsp condensed milk, cool mixture add 2 beaten egg and 1 tsp cardamom powder to it, grease a baking dish with 1 tsp butter and pour this mixture in it, sprinkle 1 tbsp crushed almonds on top, bake on 180 degree for 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
